Anzio R.I.S.E. for the OCEAN is a community-led participatory art and science initiative based in the historic fishing port of Anzio, Italy. Working with fisherfolk, residents, artists and scientists, the project addresses marine pollution caused by single-use polystyrene fish crates, combining reusable alternatives, citizen science and large-scale public artworks to spark ocean literacy, social inclusion and coastal regeneration.
